Susivuori business area
The Susivuori business are is the newest business park in Rauma. The City of Rauma rents and reserves industrial and commercial plots in the area. The building conditions are mainly excellent (rocky soil) and plots are available in a wide range of sizes and from prime locations in terms of visibility and transport.
In the areas south of the northern perimeter (along the Teodoliittitie and Statiivitie), the municipal services are in place and plots are available.
The plots north of Pohjoiskehä in blocks 1722 and 1724 (Olkitie, Ihamaantie, and Impivaarantie) are available for advance reservation and will be handed over once the municipal engineering is completed during the summer of 2026.
The City of Rauma has built a large stormwater basin in the Susivuori industrial area to mitigate flooding. The 165-meter-long basin detains water from a 16-hectare catchment area and reverses the flow direction from east to west. These measures protect Highway 8 and the raw water canal as industry expands.
